Dental Crowns
If your tooth is chipped, cracked, or weakened, we may be able to repair it with a dental crown. Crowns can completely cover the compromised tooth structure so that it does not suffer from any further damage. The practice offers EMAX crowns, which are made out of lithium disilicate ceramic. These are known to be highly resistant to cracking, and they can be personalized to look like a natural part of your smile. We also offer Zirconia crowns, which are less esthetic than EMAX, but offer more strength when this is a priority. We do not use metal or mercury in any restorations.
CEREC Same-Day Dental Crowns & Restorations
As part of the team’s efforts to bring patients the best that modern dental care has to offer, we have adopted the state-of-the-art CEREC system. Now instead of relying on a separate dental laboratory to make crowns, we can create personalized restorations on site. This means that you won’t have to schedule more than one appointment to get your crown; the CEREC system allows us to place it in a single day without having to use an annoying temporary crown. As well, patients often are happy to report that their new CEREC crowns have a better fit and feel more natural than lab fabricated crowns.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
As long as a cavity is still small, it may be possible to repair it with a simple type of restoration known as a filling. A bit of composite resin can be used to fill in the decayed parts of the tooth, thus preventing the problem from growing any worse. One of the major advantages of using composite resin is that it can be personalized to match the appearance of the enamel around it, allowing your filling to blend in with the tooth so well that most people won’t even realize that it’s there. We only use filling materials that are biocompatible and safe. You won’t find mercury fillings used here.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
When you have multiple damaged, decayed, or missing teeth, the idea of having them all treated can be overwhelming. But even if a healthy grin seems out of reach, we can make it a reality with a full mouth reconstruction. This is a combination of treatments that have been chosen to address your specific oral health issues. Whether you need crowns, fillings, or a different type of dental work entirely, we’ll develop a reconstruction plan that will give you every reason to smile.
