Get to Know Dr. Chase Talbot
Dr. Talbot always looks forward to coming in and spending time with the Saratoga Dental team, and he really enjoys getting to know the Langley community while building connections with his patients. He has always been drawn to the intricate work of dentistry and likes how an expertise in biology, materials science and art all play a role in providing beautiful, quality work. He looks forward to applying that knowledge while helping you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Talbot knew he wanted to become a dentist early in life after he was able to observe and sometimes assist his dad in his dental practice. His freshman year of undergrad is when he solidified his decision to become a dentist after working as a sterilization tech. For him, it just seemed like the natural path to take!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After finishing his bachelor's degree at Whitworth University, Dr. Talbot went on to graduate from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. This was followed by attending an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, and he went on to serve as a general dentist in the United States Navy. Following his service, he worked at a practice in downtown Seattle before finally joining the team.
To date, he has taken several hours of continuing education focused on digital anterior esthetic dentistry, and he is also a member of the American Dental Association and Washington State Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Talbot comes from a large family that includes his two siblings, four nieces and nephews, and literally dozens of cousins. When he isn’t spending time with them or his wife, Zea, he likes to be outdoors, whether this involves hiking, biking, backpacking, or skiing. You’ll often find him woodworking or doing watch repair on the weekends, and he also likes reading hard science fiction and catching several Seattle Sounders games each season.
