From the staff at the front desk to the assistants and hygienists in the back, you’ll enjoy warm, professional, and prompt service every moment you’re with us thanks to the individuals featured here.
Amy, Dental Assistant

Amy learned what she knows about dentistry on the job as well as through continuing education. She has decades of experience, and she considers her team and her patients to be the best parts of her job.
Amy and her husband have two sons. When she’s not at the office, Amy likes gardening, hiking, and doing various projects around her home.
Catherine, Registered Dental Hygienist

Catherine grew up in Southern California. She has a degree in dental hygiene and has had the opportunity to work with underserved populations in Mexico and Costa Rica; she has also spent three summers in Zimbabwe working with a mobile medical team with Rotary International. She enjoys having the chance to serve patients and put them on the path toward a healthier smile and body.
Catherine lives with her partner John and raised her daughter Arianna on Whidbey Island. She has many interests, including open-water swimming, walking, hiking, yoga, gardening, and cooking. Additionally, she is an artist who works with clay, watercolor, and acrylic.
Shalyn, Back Office Manager/Assistant

Shalyn is from Langley, and she has a dental career spanning more than two decades, all of which was spent right here at Saratoga Dental. She is thankful for the wonderful people that she has the privilege of working alongside.
Shalyn has been with her husband since high school. Together, they have two wonderful daughters. In her spare time, Shalyn likes hiking, paddle boarding, and simply being outside.
Jodi, Office Manager/Financial Coordinator

Jodi has been in the dental field for over 17 years. She enjoys having the chance to collaborate with patients, aiding them in finding the best treatment options for them while accounting for their budget.
Jodi enjoys time at home on her farm with her family. Her family owns several animals, including a dog, a cat and horses. Not only does she often ride horses, but she is also a certified Equine Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. Her other hobbies include hiking, working out, and gardening.
Laura, Schedule Coordinator

Laura is proud to have learned everything she knows about dentistry at Saratoga Dental through experience and courses. Her favorite part of the job is getting to know our wonderful patients and helping them to achieve their health goals alongside her coworkers.
Outside of the office, Laura is a professional painter and printmaker whose work can be seen in local galleries as well as across the country. Living on Whidbey and traveling offers endless inspiration.
Destiny, Front Desk

Originally from Danville, IN, Destiny studied dentistry at Skagit Valley College, and she has completed a nine-month dental assisting program. She spent two years working as a registered dental assistant in Oak Harbor before eventually transitioning to the front desk. She’s happy to be able to form real connections with patients and help them achieve their dental goals.
Destiny has a wonderful, supportive partner as well as a son. She can often be found watching true crime documentaries, tending to her plants, and spending quality time with her family.

Lindsay, Registered Dental Assistant

Lindsay hails from Oregon. She is a nationally recognized certified dental assistant, and she has achieved registered dental assistant status in California and Washington. She greatly appreciates getting to be part of a team that truly cares about patients.
Lindsay’s family includes her spouse of more than three decades and their adult daughter. She also has a number of chihuahuas and chickens! Her hobbies include cooking and gardening, and she likes to volunteer with animals when she has the chance.
